Series III 2400

2420 Vacuum Receiver

  PVC Compound Vacuum Receiver

The Series3 2400 PVC Receiver has been specifically designed to provide high-efficiency material separation when handling fine powders as well as regrind, granular materials and even pellets. This receiver features a low overall height by incorporating a cyclonic primary separator coupled with an internal cartridge secondary separator with automatic air pulse cleaning.

Features

  • Primary separation is accomplished using a tangential material entry with a centrally located thimble to provide cyclonic material-air separation.
  • Secondary separation is provided utilizing a spun bond polyester cartridge filter.
  • Automatic self-cleaning cartridge assembly provides bursts of compressed air between each material draw cycle.
  • Easy access band clamp provides tool-less entry into the interior of the receiver for cleaning and filter maintenance.
  • Available in carbon steel construction with epoxy coated interior and enamel painted exterior or with 304 stainless steel material contact. Custom material combinations can be provided, per customer’s request, at a slight additional charge.
  • 3-inch diameter material inlet tube that may be reduced to meet smaller capacity applications.
  • Tangential material inlet tube provides gentle material entry to reduce degradation of the conveyed product.
  • Material inlet tube includes an internal check-valve that allows this receiver to be used in vacuum sequencing systems with multiple receivers.
  • 60° sloped hopper to promote material discharge.
  • 6-inch gravity discharge gate with white Neoprene seal. An air-actuated power gate assembly is available as an option.
  • Full support discharge flange for mounting.
  • Integral proximity switch detects discharge gate position, automatically calling for material whenever the hopper is not full.
  • Controls suitable for use with either a solid state microprocessor controller or a programmable logic controller. Both control systems utilize 24 VDC low voltages and are available with installation kits making installation easy and more economical. The receiver controls include color coded quick connectors and provide communication to the central controller.

Controls

  • PLC I/O module receiver controls, for use with a programmable logic controller, provide all communication parameters to the central controller for operation. An optional receiver on/off selector is available for maintenance ease.

  • MPC solid state receiver controls, for use with a microprocessor controller, provide many commands to the central controller for operation. Receiver located functions include the number of cartridge pulses, pulse rate and receiver on/off selection.
