Premier Diverter
Valves direct material from one source to multiple destinations. The cylindrical,
cast housing provides a smooth, lowresistance path for the conveying air
and material. One outlet is in line with the inlet, and the other is offset
30 degrees. The diverter valve is ideal for use in pressure systems.
Features
- Single or double solenoid
- Magnetic proximity proof switches for both gate
positions
- Abrasion protector extends the life of the polyurethane
seal
- Low pressure drop minimizes velocity change through
valve
- Enclosure ratings of NEMA 4X and NEMA 9 are standard,
with NEMA 7 optional
Materials
of Construction
Diverter Valves are available with the housing constructed
of iron, aluminum, or stainless steel. The cast metal diverting gate is
offered in carbon or stainless steel. A polyurethane flapper, retained
between the two halves of the metal diverting gate, seals the unused leg
of the valve during operation.
Variety
of Sizes, Options
Diverter Valves are available for 2", 3",
4", 5", and 6" O. D. tube and pipe line sizes. They may
be equipped with either manual, motorized, or air-cylinder actuators.
The unit is designed to function efficiently when installed in a series
with other valves, and may be installed at any angle. The valve operates
at pressures up to 20 PSIG and temperatures up to 200° F.
